Haiyun Xu is a Lecturer in the School of Architecture and urban planning, Beijing University of Civil Engineering and Architecture. She obtained her Ph.D. in Landscape architecture and urban planning at the University of Copenhagen. And she used to be the visiting scholar in Chair for social-ecological interactions in agricultural systems in University of Göttingen and University of Kassel, and the member of council of Association of Chinese Experts in Denmark. Her research field includes corridor and green infrastructure, Public participation GIS for landscape planning and management, socio-ecological systems, landscape values, and ecosystem services, landscape sustainability science. She has published 14 papers in Chinese and English. She is the reviewer for numerous SCI journals such as Landscape research, Land, and Sustainability. She is selected as the scholar in the Beijing Overseas Young Talent Aggregation Project, a member of the Danish Association of Landscape Architects, and a young member of the Cultural Landscape Committee of the Chinese Society of Landscape Architecture.
