Journal: Journal of Higher Education Research DOI: 10.32629/jher.v5i5.3038
Abstract
With the acceleration of globalization, the role of cross-cultural rhetoric in international communication has become increasingly important. This paper explores the evolution of cross-cultural rhetoric in the context of globalization, focusing particularly on changes in pragmatic strategies. By analyzing rhetorical approaches and pragmatic strategies across different cultural backgrounds, this study reveals the processes of adaptation and transformation of language in cross-cultural communication. These changes not only reflect the mutual influence between cultures but also demonstrate how language adapts to an ever-changing global context. Understanding the evolution of cross-cultural rhetoric is crucial for enhancing cross-cultural communication skills and avoiding cultural misunderstandings.
