Abstract

With the continuous development of information technology and the continuous progress of online learning tools, the SPOC (Small Private Online Course) model effectively combines classroom teaching with online resource learning, which can attract students to prepare seriously and stimulate their participation. However, the fragmented knowledge content in current English teaching in higher education is very detrimental to the improvement of students’ language abilities and the cultivation of innovative thinking. Therefore, it is particularly important to reconstruct the teaching content of English courses in colleges and universities.
