A Study on the Application of English Songs in College English Teaching

Abstract
This paper aims to explore the application of English songs in college English teaching and its positive influence on students' learning effect. Through literature review, teaching example analysis and other methods, this paper demonstrates the role of English songs in stimulating students' interest in learning, improving listening and speaking ability, enriching vocabulary and broadening cultural horizons. The research shows that the rational use of English songs as teaching AIDS can significantly improve the effect and quality of college English teaching.
