Research on College English Teaching Reform under the Guidance of Curriculum Ideological and Political Education Concept

Abstract

Under the background of the new era, the concept of curriculum ideological and political education is gradually becoming an important direction of college education reform. This paper discusses the path of college English teaching reform under its guidance, such as the integration of ideological and political elements in teaching content, the innovation and optimization of teaching methods, the cultivation and construction of teaching staff and the improvement of evaluation system. Through theoretical analysis and practical cases, it is pointed out that college English courses should integrate ideological and political education organically, so as to improve students' ideological and political literacy and cultural self-confidence, and promote the dual improvement of language ability and comprehensive quality.
