Research on the Application and Effect of Film and Television Works in Education

Abstract

With the rapid development of digital media technology, film and television works are increasingly widely applied in the field of education. The purpose of this paper is to explore the practical application and its impact on students' learning outcomes of film and television works in education, especially in higher education. Through literature review and empirical research, this paper analyzes the advantages and limitations of film and television works as teaching aids, and discusses how to effectively integrate film and television works to improve the quality of education. The study found that the rational use of film and television works can stimulate students' interest in learning and promote knowledge absorption and understanding, but at the same time, it is also necessary to pay attention to avoid over-reliance and bias in content selection. This paper proposes that the application of film and television works in education should pay attention to the matching degree between the content and the teaching objectives, the professional guidance of teachers, and the active participation of students.
