The Impact of Geopolitical Conflicts on the Volatility of the International Financial Markets

Abstract

This paper aims to explore the specific impact of geopolitical conflicts on the international financial market. By analyzing the volatility of financial markets, investor sentiment, commodity prices, and the performance of various assets, the short-term and long-term financial impacts of conflict are revealed. Studies show that geopolitical conflicts have a significant impact on global markets, especially in energy and commodity markets, with different volatility effects on different regions and asset classes.
