Youth are the future of the nation and the hope of the nation. Patriotic education for youth is a process of value formation centered on patriotic sentiment, guiding young people to correctly understand the relationship between the individual and the nation’s destiny and to consciously integrate personal development into the nation’s development. In the new era, faced with the profound changes the world has not seen in a century and the strategic landscape of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation, strengthening patriotic education for youth holds special and significant importance for cultivating a new generation capable of shouldering the great mission of national rejuvenation, solidifying the common ideological foundation for the unity and struggle of all the people, and addressing complex challenges in the ideological sphere. To this end, we must adopt a multi-dimensional approach — including theoretical education, practical training, cultural immersion, and online guidance — to ensure that patriotism becomes the firm conviction, spiritual strength, and conscious action of the youth in the new era.
