The first introduction provides a brief introduction to the relationship and differences between cohesion and coherence. The second part discusses cohesion of classification, including reference, substitution, ellipsis, conjunction, and lexical cohesion, and the third part presents several translation techniques for these cohesive devices. The fourth part introduces coherence and its translation techniques, such as sentence order adjustment, and context-based information addition. Through detailed analysis and examples, the report demonstrates how these techniques can enhance the translation of energy English texts, maintaining their clarity, precision, and reader engagement.
