Abstract

The rise of social media has significantly influenced modern English rhetorical techniques, reshaping the ways in which people communicate, persuade, and construct meaning. This paper explores how the language used on social media platforms has affected English rhetoric, focusing on the use of brevity, informality, multimodal elements, and interactivity. The study analyzes how these changes reflect broader shifts in communication practices and their implications for rhetorical theory and practice. By examining specific examples from various platforms, the paper provides insight into how social media is transforming the landscape of modern English rhetoric, impacting both personal and professional communication.
