A Study on the Factors Influencing Students' Choice to Pursue Undergraduate Courses at Hebei Academy of Fine Arts through the Gaokao System: A Case of the 2024 Academic Year

Abstract
This study investigates the key factors influencing students' decisions to pursue undergraduate programs at Hebei Academy of Fine Arts through the Gaokao system in the 2024 academic year. Using a sample of 378 students, the research examines the influence of various factors, including the attractiveness of academic programs, faculty quality, campus culture and environment, tuition and financial support, and the university's reputation and social prestige, on students' enrollment decisions across different admission rounds. The findings highlight that the campus's cultural atmosphere and the quality of faculty at Hebei Academy of Fine Arts are pivotal in shaping students' choices. These insights provide valuable recommendations for improving recruitment strategies and optimizing educational offerings to enhance the institution’s competitiveness in the higher education sector.
