机器翻译及机辅翻译可用性及学生译者技术能力提升策略研究

Abstract
本文聚焦翻译专业硕士在新闻文本英译汉过程中使用计算机辅助翻译(简称“机辅翻译”)和机器翻译译后编辑两种不同翻译模式时的可用性,并提出技术能力提升策略。实验针对72位翻译硕士在使用机辅翻译和译后编辑两种任务模式下的翻译过程、译文以及问卷,从翻译速度、译文质量和译者态度三个方面分析可用性。研究结果表明,两种任务模式下的任务完成速度无显著差异,机辅翻译错误数量显著高于译后编辑,学生译者更偏爱译后编辑,认为其易用性更高。学生需在技术学习态度、技术原理掌握及操作熟悉度等方面进一步提升翻译技术使用能力。
