Yinglei Song received his B.S. in physics from Tsinghua University in China in 1998 and his Ph.D. in computer science from the University of Georgia, USA in 2006. From year 2007 to 2012, he worked as an assistant professor of computer science in the University of Maryland Eastern Shore, USA. Currently, he is working as a professor of information science at the Jiangsu University of Science and Technology, China.
