He graduated from the Department of Geology of China Mining Institute in 1984 and majored in mine surveying. He has been engaged in scientific research and teaching in mine surveying and deformation monitoring, mining subsidence and control, foundation stability evaluation of old mined-out areas and building utilization. Now he is a professor and doctoral tutor of surveying and mapping science and technology in China University of Mining and Technology, and a head of geodesy and surveying engineering; a member of the Sixth Professional Committee of the International Mine Surveying Association, a deputy director of the Mine Surveying Professional Committee of the China Coal Society, and the China Coal Society Member of the Technical Appraisal Committee of Coal Mining Damage. Presided over the completion of the national science and technology support plan project "coal mine mining, selection, charging and mining integration key technology development and demonstration", the National Natural Science Foundation project key project "longwall comprehensive mining gangue filling and rock movement control research", the general project "old mining Deformation mechanism and control of ruptured rock mass in empty area" and "Mechanism and control of rock layer movement in high temperature-in-situ stress coupling environment of underground coal gasification", National Public Welfare Industry Scientific Research Project "Research on gangue filling method for protecting cultivated land and improving resource recovery rate" "And more than 60 scientific research projects entrusted by enterprises. The research achievements have won 1 second prize of National Science and Technology Progress Award, 1 second prize of National Teaching Achievement Award, 6 first prizes of provincial and ministerial level, 5 second prizes and 5 third prizes; published more than 130 academic papers.
