Elmar Diederichs

Dr. Elmar Diederichs gratuated in Physics, Analytical Philosophy and Law at the Georg-August-Universität Göttingen and got his Ph.D. in Mathematics from FU Berlin. Afterwards he had research positions at the Weierstrass Institute for Applied Analysis and Stochastics (WIAS) Berlin, the Department of Statistics at UC Berkeley (CA) and the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (MIPT) focussed on Machine Learning and Predictive Data Analysis. Then he worked as Director for Machine Intelligence on Stochastic Analysis and complex problems in AI for a company in UK. Now he has his own research group as Director for Machine Intelligence at a large logistics company (GER). Moreover hee has started is own mathematical think tank Elements of Euclid Ltd. working on AI augmented cognition. There he works on Machine Thinking and philosophical problems on Language Analysis, Cognition and Autonomy and their implications to AI – particularly NLP and Reinforcement Learning.
