Research and Practice on the Construction of First-class Business English Major in Local Colleges and Universities — Taking Taizhou University as an Example

Abstract

Under the background of double-class and big data discipline construction, in order to actively meet the needs of talent development in Jiangsu and Yangtze River Delta. Combined with the actual situation of our university, this paper gives effective strategies and ways to realize the first-class Business English specialty construction from the aspects of specialty construction goal and specialty orientation, personnel training plan revision, personnel training concept renewal, personnel training mode optimization, specialty characteristics condensation and specialty development suggestions. Provide professional construction reference for first-class specialty construction and Business English applied talents training in local universities.
