The Role of Massage Therapy in the Relief of Symptoms in Cancer Patients: Literature Review

Abstract
This paper shows research results about the role of massage therapy in the relief of symptoms in cancer patients. This topic needs further investigation and more high-quality methodological studies are needed in this area to avoid the limitations of past studies. In conclusion, the subject of the role of massage in relieving symptoms in cancer patients has not been reviewed and evaluated in the literature for over a decade. Therefore, in order to be able to provide fuller evidence for clinical nurses, the author critically evaluate and assess the most recent views and data on the role of massage therapy in the relief of cancer-related symptoms.
